Welcome to Point After Transition
The competitive advantage of P.A.T, is that the program design and execution comes from a 9 year veteran of the National Football League, who is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach. Dwight Hollier, MS, LPC, NCC has personally experienced that transition and will utilize personal and professional knowledge to assist fellow athletes with becoming peak performers on and off the field.
 
What are we all about?
P.A.T and Dwight Hollier, MS, LPC, NCC will utilize personal and professional experience to help individuals transition their thoughts to meet their full potential. The target areas include motivation, self-confidence, self-esteem, anger management and emotional responses. Clients and their families will have a confidential source to work through troubling issues which may hinder their ability to be peak performers everyday. P.A.T office location, which is five minutes from uptown off of North Tryon, offers additional privacy and confidentiality to help families feel safe. Flexible hours and can travel for more personal service. Medicaid Accepted.
 

Athletes & Mental Health

I've raised the question of mental health recently because I have had a flurry of mental health problems around me. There is much that is wonderful that the general health community is doing and little that I am qualified to comment on.

What I can observe, that is relevant, is what I see regarding the upbringing of my grandchildren that can help them avoid mental illness.

Newsflash: Job Market Information

Nearly eight out of 10 employers report that they plan to increase starting salaries to bachelor’s degree graduates in 2007-08. The average projected salary increase for bachelor’s degree graduates remains at 4.6 percent, with a median increase of 4 percent. Master’s degree graduates of 2007-08 have reason to be optimistic about their average starting salaries, as most of employers plan to offer increases to these grads, too.
